On 1/19, unrepentant illegal alien Jose Antonio Vargas insisted to sympathetic MSNBC interviewer Katy Tur that, though he originally entered the U.S. illegally, since he's lived here for many years since that offense, he is today a legitimate citizen.
Let's test the soundness of that logic by applying it to another offense: Suppose an Idaho man stole a Chevrolet in 1994. Does his still driving it today change its status from stolen to legitimately owned?
Perhaps someone should look into any car Vargas might be driving.
